For me then came the educational part and just educating myself. And I was able to connect with a local, an operator that does out here in New Jersey. And he kind of focuses away from the high cost areas. You know, not the places like Hoboken or Jersey city across the world. No a little further away.
These are not people that work in the city, but workforce housing. And I visited the property with him and this was right around COVID time. So everyone was forced home and I’m very close to my friends from college. Uh, still, uh, we went to Rutgers. Uh, so that’s how I ended up in New Jersey. And it’s kind of similar, I guess, you know, listened to your story with Jerome and his story is sitting on the stool, then you’re crazy right now I started to enjoy like the whole virtual world.

And then I just started looking into him and I reached out to him and we ended up connecting and I was grateful for this because I started a meetup and I reached out to him.

The other thing is that people talk to people and then they’re like, oh, talk to Jerry. When Jersey, he looks at Greenville, he had a site, I’ve gotten a lot of connections there. So I feel like, again with this group, you know, there’s, people are scattered across and you kind of connect with people we’re going to act.
And that’s been what has been a good course, but I do also feel. As far as the overall learning part of it, the joint venture is something, you know, where he’s teaching, you know, you own more, you get more equity because you have more control. And, um, as you may know, or not know, but you know, I’m part of a group of four that entered into the LOI with Jerome or property.
