My aspirations are to help. Real estate is just something that has been on my heart since I was in college.
I shared with Jerome. I went to Xavier university in new Orleans, and so I was there during hurricane Katrina. So I saw the whole transformation of the city freshmen. I didn’t really go to these places, but like Holly Grove to bend to Holly Grove when pre-Katrina and all this stuff, and it looks very different now, you know, looking in 2021, you know, gain knowledge, I realized that real estate is honestly one of the ways to become a millionaire to become self-sufficient.
And I also shared with your Jerome. My father, he actually owns real estate. Personally. I want to be in control of my future. It’s actually also telling Jerome before I started the class, I put an offer on a house. It wasn’t a multifamily unit. It was just a house. And my dad was going to help me with the process. And he told me he was like, I just want to let you know, I’m not going to be asking you all these questions.
I just went. I mean, giving you all of this knowledge, I just want to make sure you have the money to just, when I call you and tell you, you know, give me the money, just give me the money. One thing that I actually really admired about Jerome is. He’s not a flashy, like jerk. And I say that because I really say that I know you’re probably laughing because when I tell you, when I’ve looked at some of the stuff on YouTube or some of these people on Instagram, it’s such a turn off. Jerome, seem like an honest to do man that would probably sum it up.
He seemed like an honest person. His Instagram seemed real. There’s probably, and I’m not really a social media person that has been actually pretty good to kind of get an idea of what people will say and how people will react to you. I think that’s good because one, I can go back to them now that we, you know, we have the old courses, so trying to get a little bit for more familiar with that, I really enjoy the role play and trying to understand how to interact with broker.
Buyers and sellers. So I really enjoy that. .
